Former UCLA swimmer Jenny Ryan teaches babies to adults how to swim and develop a love for the water. Her gentle nature and calm, confident approach puts students at ease. Jen’s favorite way to teach is through play, songs, and games. Whether your child is going underwater for the first time or tightening up their flip turn, they will find success with Jen. A mom of three herself, she feels grateful for the privilege of making your little one water safe and offering a comfortable, no-stress backyard pool environment to accomplish this.
Jen teaches from her home in Montrose, in a heated pool with a large baja step, perfect for beginners. Parking is easy and siblings are welcome. Parents can observe lessons from the upper patio, out of their student’s sightline.
Competitive swimmers benefit from Jen’s background as a nationally ranked swimmer and alumni of UCLA’s swim team. An expert in stroke technique, Jen helps athletes perfect their strokes and practice habits to shave time off of their personal records.

“Our toddler loves Jen, almost as much as she loves the water. Now that she’s water safe, we finally have peace of mind around swimming pools.”
